Tamiya 58725A 1/10 R/C Squash Van GF-02 - Coming soon!
Overview
The Squash Van represents a fresh and enjoyable large-tyre vehicle that draws inspiration from 1950s American panel vans. Its polycarbonate body shell is perched atop the recently introduced gear-driven 4WD GF-02 chassis, a modified version of the comical GF-01. While the GF-01 chassis showcases a design, the GF-02 chassis takes a more realistic approach with its wheelbase and a frame adorned with ladder and pipe elements.
Key Features
Centre Motor Mount
The motor is mounted in a central position and is engineered specifically to even distribute power via the GF-02 unique gear driven drive system.
Retro Styling
Drawing from 1950s panel van style, from the rounded headlights and body design to the flared arches, the Squash van body has been carefully designed to showcase everything that people love about this era of motoring.
Double Wishbone Suspension
For consistent handling across the entire car, both front and rear axles utilise identical double wishbone suspension layouts. Additionally, a pre-threaded servo mount at the rear allows for the easy installation of a second servo, enabling advanced 4WS configurations for enhanced manoeuvrability.
Monster Truck Tyres
White deep-rim wheels provide ample clearance, while 123mm tyres with aggressive tread patterns deliver superior traction and control, making this model a true off-road monster.
Gear Driven
Not a company to shy away from a challenge, Tamiya have put their considerable knowledge and know how into designing a unique drive system consisting entirely of gears. This has resulted in an incredibly unique and smooth driving experience that could only be delivered by a company like Tamiya.
CC-02 Wheelbase
Not super keen on the body style or want something branded? Tamiya have designed the wheelbase to be the same as the LWB CC-02 chassis, opening up several options of bodies from the incredibly scale CC-02 range.
